HOW TO FIND US

From Washford Railway Station and Washford Inn, continue west on the A39 for approximately half a mile and, on reaching the first cross road, turn right - signposted Old Cleeve and Blue Anchor.  Continue over the railway bridge for half a mile and Cedar House is the first property on the right.

 PLACES OF INTEREST
Minehead is small and compact with tree lined avenues and great floral displays in the summer.

There is a beach and harbour with a seafront.  Live music in Blenheim Gardens every weekend through the summer.
-Travelling time 10 minutes 

Out of town, Exmoor and the Quantock Hills are close by.  Popular walking, cycling, and horse riding destinations.
Dunster has a magnificent 13th century castle and the octagonal Yarn Market in the centre of the village. 
-Travelling time 5 minutes.

The picture postcard harbour village of Watchet is well worth a visit with its new marina and it is a fossil collectors paradise. 
-Travelling time 10 minutes.
Visit Lynton and use the funicular railway down the steep cliff to reach Lynmouth nestling at the bottom, a pretty seaside resort, with spectacular walking up Watersmeet Gorge next to the tumbling water. 
-Travelling time 45 minutes. 

The West Somerset Railway based at Minehead runs 20 miles through some beautiful rural landscapes.  The distant trains can be watched from the Gardens at Cedar House, as they climb Washford Bank.
